Arsenal have found a club to offload their £140,000-a-week player

Sevilla are interested in signing Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe in the summer transfer window, claim Super Remote.

The Spanish outlet’s report has claimed that Sevilla have sounded out Arsenal for a deal for winger Pepe.

Sevilla are ready to sign the Ivory Coast international winger, as long as Arsenal don’t ask for an ‘exorbitant’ sum of money, according to the report.

Super Remote added that Sevilla could use Argentina international winger Lucas Ocampos in the deal.

Sevilla’s Nicolas Pepe interest is encouraging for Arsenal

In our view, Sevilla’s reported interest in Pepe is very encouraging for Arsenal.

That’s because the Gunners are trying to get rid of the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international winger in the summer transfer window.

The Sun reported last month that Arsenal are ready to sell Pepe for £25million and take his £140,000-a-week wages off their books.

West Ham United have been linked with the winger, who cost Arsenal £72million in transfer fees when they signed him from Lille in 2019.

The winger has struggled at the Gunners and, in our opinion, a move to Sevilla could suit all three sides.

If Sevilla aren’t willing to pay £25m for Pepe then perhaps Arsenal should try and secure a loan deal and get the La Liga club to pay his full season’s wages. next.
