Cordelian Club donates to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital

Cordelian Club Members Present $5,000 Contribution to Bertrand Chaffee
Hospital in honor of Robert Kaufmann.

SPRINGVILLE- Members of the Cordelian Club recently presented a $5,000 contribution to representatives of the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital. This donation was made in honor of Robert Kaufmann, a member of the Springville community who recently passed away. Kaufmann was a retired Springville-Griffith Institute School District guidance counselor, an active supporter of children’s sports, and a wonderful, friendly person who always brought smiles to those around him. Bob’s wife, Mary, and daughter Lisa have been active members of the Cordelian Club for decades.

The Cordelian Club has a long history of supporting Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home through their fundraising efforts, including their annual dance. The group has helped fund new “smart” IV infusion pumps, a digital mammography machine, new nursing home kitchenettes and other hospital equipment and projects.
