Boston Celtics short-term player Jarell Eddie has signed to play for Beysu Konyaspor, a Turkish team from the city of Konya who play in the Basketball Super League (BSL) according to recent reports from Alberto De Roa from our sister site HoopsHype .
The former Virginia Tech player rebounded in the league with several saves in the G League and with the Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns after being drafted in 2014. He then signed a 10-day contract with Boston in January 2018. Eddie only appeared in two games for the Celtics that season, recording just one rebound and one steal in 6 minutes of ground time. He missed his only shot attempt with the team, a 3-pointer.
The Tampa, Fla. native has since made stops with the Chicago Bulls and overseas with SIG Strasbourg, Murcia, Fenerbahçe, San Pablo Burgos and Beysu Konyaspor. He also played with the Celtics on their summer league team.
