Furniture and flooring company, Frasers of Ellon, has signed a one-year deal to become an Official Partner of Aberdeen Football Club.
As part of the commercial agreement, the family business will benefit from high profile branding in Pittodrie and on the AFC Women’s Strip.
As the Dons Official Furniture and Flooring Partner, Frasers of Ellon will also become a Premier Member of the By Official Appointment program – the Club’s B2B initiative that connects local brands with the Club’s loyal fan base and brings together a family of businesses under one banner with a range of benefits.
AFC Women will proudly display the Frasers of Ellon logo on their shorts and take part in a company-sponsored “On the Couch with AFC Women” interview series.
The club’s business development director Robbie Hedderman brokered the deal.
He said: “Frasers of Ellon is a long-established family business and we are delighted to welcome them to the AFC family.
“This latest agreement underscores the creative approach AFC is taking to its business partnerships.
“At a time when companies really need a helping hand and when everyone is feeling the effects, we are focusing our efforts on attractive offers that offer the prestige and profile of the association to the Club but also concrete ways to grow your business by connecting with our fan base.
“It also means that our supporters can take advantage of offers and discounts offered by our partners and BoA members.”
Founded in 1930, Frasers of Ellon has been around for over 90 years in the Ellon area and is now run by the fourth generation of the family.
Today, the company has an impressive showroom with an extensive selection of living room, dining room and bedroom furniture and accessories, as well as a large flooring department that offers a wide range of flooring, from rugs, vinyls and carpets to luxury laminates, woods and vinyl tiles.
Frasers of Ellon chief executive Colin McKay said: “We are delighted to be entering into an official partnership with Aberdeen Football Club.
“At the heart of our business are the core values of being a family business and a local institution.
“It fits well with the philosophy of the AFC, as a family club and part of the wider community.
“We are very much looking forward to working together throughout this season.”
