Guardians pitcher Morgan to attend Wahoo Club brunch


CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Wahoo Club will host Cleveland Guardians pitcher Eli Morgan for its brunch series.

Brunch is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1100 Carnegie Ave., across from Progressive Field.

The event includes Q&A, autograph and photo session, brunch, prizes, silent auction and more.

Morgan was drafted from Gonzaga University in the eighth round of the June 2017 entry draft. He is in his second year with the Guardians and has recorded 124 strikeouts for 124 and a third inning pitched.

Cost is $55 (club members, $45; children 10 and under, $25).

Payment can be sent to Wahoo Club, PO Box 221142, Attention Brunch August 6th. Include a stamped envelope addressed to you. The club also accepts credit cards, PayPal, Venmo and cash.

After brunch, the Guardians host the Houston Astros; the first pitch is at 6:10 p.m.
