Leeds United are set to open talks with Jack Harrison over a new contract amid interest from Tottenham and Newcastle United, according to Phil Hay. He said: “The plan was to open talks with him after the window closed and I would expect that to happen. This needs to be done because if he is only 12 months old at the end of this season then Leeds will have to think about selling him but they won’t be able to maximize his value. (Athleticism)

Girona FC striker Valentin Castellanos has claimed he wants to stay in Europe after signing for La Liga on loan for the season, with Leeds United and Newcastle United reportedly interested in the striker.
