Mountain Statesman | The Grafton Wrestling Club will host the last day of registrations

GRAFTON—The Grafton Wrestling Club will soon welcome local youth to join their organization for the winter season, representing Grafton on the mats.

The club accepts wrestlers between the ages of 4 and 12, at all levels of experience, from beginners to more advanced.

“Our coaches are dedicated to teaching their passion for the sport to every child in the hope that they too will develop the same passion,” the club shared.

With the season set to officially begin the first week of November, Grafton Wrestling Club has held registrations and the club registration deadline will be Thursday, October 27.

Registration will take place at Grafton High School in front of the Claire Bee Field House from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Those wishing to register their athlete must bring with them a copy of the child’s birth certificate, as well as the registration fee, which will be $60 for the first child and $40 for each additional registrant in the same family. Cash or checks will be accepted for fees.

The club practices all week at Grafton High School and will compete in statewide tournaments on weekends.

Additional information will be available upon registration.
