Arsenal have been linked with Raphinha for most of the summer.
But now it looks like this transfer saga can finally be put to bed.
Despite reports suggesting Raphinha was going elsewhere, Arsenal have remained linked with the Leeds star.
Last Thursday the evening standard reported that Arsenal had not given up hope of signing Raphinha.
This was despite the Elland Road star “having previously snubbed” the Gunners and Tottenham.
And on Friday a report suggested there may be a way back for Arsenal and other contenders.
According The mirrorBarca considered ending their interest in Raphinha if Ousmane Dembele stayed put.
And more recently, Mundo Deportivo listed Arsenal and Tottenham as two clubs that had made bigger offers than Barca.
But now Fabrizio Romano has given Raphinha his ‘let’s go’ stamp of approval joining Barcelona.
Leeds have reportedly agreed to a deal worth €67m (£56.5m) for the ‘unbelievable“Brazilian.
Now is ‘time for documents and contracts’ ahead of his impending move to Camp Nou.
It’s likely that many Arsenal fans mentally crossed Raphinha off their list of transfer options some time ago.
Serge Gnabry is said to be on the Gunners’ radar – could they make a move for their former player this summer?
