Rotary club pays fees for female students in Taraba


The Rotary Club International has paid the NECO registration fees for 15 female students at Jauro Mashi Mayogwoi Government Secondary School in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The club also provided and donated 25 school benches to facilitate their learning process at school.

Sylvester Vinks Danjuma, President of Synergy of Rotary Club Jalingo City, which hosted District Governor Goddy Nnadi and his team in the state, said the community school was chosen after a thorough feasibility study.

“The Club, after careful consideration, has decided to pay the NECO examination fee for 15 female students, which costs the Club only 450,000.00 NECO.

“Let me assure you that the Club will continue to partner with the school torward, and will continue to expand itr hand of brotherhood in every way possible to help reach the needy and most vulnerable in the state,” he noted.

District Governor of Rotary International District 9125, Goddy Nnadi, said the gesture was part of the club’s corporate social responsibility to help less privileged Nigerians and other vulnerable Nigerians.

Danjuma urged the people of the state to join the club as a service platform for humanity.

Nnadi called on beneficiaries to use this opportunity wisely to improve their future.

The school principal, Ms. Cecilia Madaki, thanked the organization for its impact on the lives of those she described as future leaders and the pride of humanity.
