Siyanda Xulu will sign for a new club?

Former Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maritzburg United defender Siyanda Xulu could join a surprise new club, Siya’s side have informed.

Xulu, 30, has been a free agent since parting ways with his Israeli club in March this year.

He spent a brief period training with AmaZulu with the sole aim of staying fit, despite rumors in the media of a possible move to Usuthu.

Now, the latest news reaching Siya’s crew is that Xulu has left the country to start a new adventure in Azerbaijan.

Siya sources have informed the crew that there are a number of decent offers on the table for the Bafana defender Bafana but it looks like the defender has prioritized an overseas move instead.

This means that Xulu’s place in the national team could be under threat.

The defender has been a regular under coach Hugo Broos and was selected in his squad which faced France and Guinea in March, despite being without a club at the time.

Now, as Xulu moves further into the periphery of national team selectors, it remains to be seen if he continues to be part of Broos’ squad.

Siya’s team have yet to determine the exact details and the club Xulu is set to sign for but will keep you posted on the latest news once he is announced at his new club.
