Two Super League clubs and one Championship club who could sign Dylan Napa from the Catalans Dragons

Yesterday it was reported that Dylan Napa and Josh Drinkwater were told by the Catalans Dragons that they were free to find new clubs.

For Napa, it was a surprise to see him allowed to leave after only being at the club for one season.

So what next for Napa? Here are three clubs who could sign him.

Trinity of Wakefield
Trinity has the most quota spots in the league with three. One looks set to go to Kevin Proctor who reportedly signs a “very lucrative deal” at Belle Bue in 2023. That would leave Wakefield two spots to bring in Napa and Drinkwater. Napa himself would be an ideal signing to replace David Fifita.

Salford Red Devils
Salford are one of the few teams in the league to have a quota place. Unlike most other teams with quotas, the Red Devils don’t focus on pivots and playmakers. This means they could be very open to signing Napa who could give the club real physicality at the midfield, which they might be able to improve on in 2023.

Toulouse Olympique / Elite One Championship
Like other Catalan players in the past, Napa may not want to leave France and could then join Toulouse Olympique in 2023 or follow Dean Whare to the Elite One championship who is certainly starred with Corey Norman and James Maloney in the competition. . at present as it continues to grow.
