The Zonta Club of Hilo is accepting applications for micro-grants to fund women-owned small businesses on the island of Hawaii. Female entrepreneurs seeking financial support are encouraged to apply.

The goal of the Pay It Forward program is to help women in our community start or grow a business with a micro-grant to lend a helping hand. The grant will be up to $2,000. Winners are required to submit a written report after one year and will be asked to present the report to the club. Fellows are encouraged to “pay it forward” when they are financially able.

“Helping women succeed and improve our communities advances Zonta’s mission. Pay It Forward is one of many programs our club offers to empower women and girls through service and advocacy,” said Zonta Club of Hilo president Julie Engelhardt.
